lyrics

It rained destruction; the preface is unknown to me until the day I choose to read
I can't bear to look, I can pay no mind, I can evacuate my intellect and tolerate what accumulates inside
A well of negativity swells deep underneath and sings sweetly to me, my infatuation grows, as I disregard the precious moment fleeting
Paralyzed by clarity surrounding me so suddenly, transfixed by the emptiness of self imposed reality, privileged in a three-walled room, with a skylight, and an audible view of vibrations living flourescently, craving the star lit moon incessantly
Paper flower fragile and open, redundant and broken, well-mannered well spoken, held up by my own grip, whipped, and further twisted by the wind
I feel like you feel when you feel like you know that you were born with your feet wet. sterilized, objectified, hypnotized, sexualized, confined to gravity, space, time
We have a choice
We've lost our connection with so many things slipping through the crack of our collective dreams, wandering blind towards the setting sun on the highest rung of humanity; indulging in perpetual stories of tragedy, choking on the falsity of mediated reality, basing our existence upon people we will never meet, spewing our resentment from the comfort of the driver's seat
We're all warm to the touch, we all grew from mother's womb, we are mirrors of ourselves
Help me wake up, get out of bed, to ride the gap, to ride the gap around the bend your light, to my line of site, so i can see that this weight is a farce, I've been lost in the dark
I can't hold on and allow the down to drag me around, I can arrive, I can realize that the burden isn't mine
And this moment
